This is Aya we're talking about; she tends to get on the nerves of everyone. There's also the possibility of the old tradition of Crow over Wolf.

Hatate in contrast has nothing but awe and respect for Momiji. She seems far more open minded than most Tengu, willing to hang out with Oni even.

So this is just jealousy now, can anyone tell me at what point does Aya graduate to yandere.
