The dark side of Gensokyou. This could be a pool.

A good chef always tests their dish before they serve it, eh?

Ah, Sakuya, I have a reservation for this evening. You should find it under the Donner party

Why hasn't this been translated yet?

(I really do hope it gets approved. I really like this strip. =/)

Halfway through the translation I realized that I didn't know the gender of their victim. It's more likely to be female, isn't it?

I doubt it really matters. Thanks for translating it. :D

I think it would actually fit the context here to use gender-neutral pronouns.

I thought of this before, but hesitated because it would mostly overlap with the Touhou guro tag combination.

It does, at least to a degree, because I need pronouns to build proper sentences in English.

Yeah, they could refer to the corpse as "it", but there are a few places where they refer to them being still alive and using "it" there sounds unnatural. It gives the impression that they're talking about an animal.

Some people assume that Youkai always eat people as opposed to being a sort of taste one learns to ignore. Rumia insists because she's young, while many older Youkais have different tastes. Magician Youkai eat normal food if not absorb magic from the air for starters.

That's exactly the context I was talking about, actually.
