I've been noticing in alot of Garnet's pics, that Ran's tails is always dropping downward, like she's depressed or something. I wonder why.

I don’t know about the tail-speak of foxes, but maybe down is just blank expression and easier if you have such large and possibly heavy tails like Ran’s.

Also I think it looks more elegant than when her tails point all over the place like a yellow cactus or peacock.

Okay, this looks way too much like the Wistful Wild for me to not mention it.
