This "pairing" makes no sense at all. She's like a fucking mother to Hope for crying out loud. Vanille x Hope makes more sense.

It's almost as nonsensical as Raven/Rita from Tales of Vesperia.
How do these crack pairings get so popular?

Although I agree that this pairing makes no sense, how is Vanille x Hope more logical on any way? With Vanille being HARD GAY for Fang, the chances of her being with Hope are even slimmer than Lightning being with Hope...

I hate this pairing just for the fact that they are different ages so this is just wrong.

What height difference? If you pay close attention to his arm (and whole body proportion, at that), which is longer and larger than Lightning's, it's clear that this is the grown up version of Hope. She's not bending down to kiss him, she's kissing him while he's lifting her.
