It all makes perfect sense. A videogame take on Pinnochio. Samus wants to be a real girl.... and uhh... Gordon Freeman is her conscious.

    Also Rubber Duckies are involved

    I think is

where is Half life 3 Valve?

Metroid is a well know experiment of new ways of gaming (and prostituting samus) by nintendo givin up the nunchuck and use only the wiimote (vertical and horizontal use like paper mario) now in Other M

Ducks are the Cell power of PS3 naver used properly by sony

There's a rubber ducky bathtime game on PSN for PS3; not so much a simulator, but I've had some viewtime on it thanks to my friend.

Usually I'm bothered when artists make Samus's powersuit shrink when her helmet is off, but I just don't care here.

One person said on Gelbooru that Gordan Freeman is facepalming because while Metriod Prime Hunter is a FPS based game, it is played only on the Wii. A FPS should be played with an actual controller or keyboard/mouse combo, not some silly TV remote!

    1) "Metroid Prime"; "Hunter" was a DS venture.
    2) I can accept keyboard+mouse due to the ease of aiming with a mouse, but it makes much more physical sense to aim with a stick than to wiggle a nub when it comes to the portrayed tools of a shooter.
    3) Now I want a shooter where you are controlling the console for a military robot gun. Pseudo-meta, man!

It's obvious to whats going on here. Gordon Free has to protect Atlantis from an army of ducks coming out of the grand canyon, however Nintendo decided to send Samus to destroy Gordon Freeman , but luckily he had punctuation marks over his head to stop her.

The person who drew this must really hate Metroid Prime 3, must really wish it were on the computer with unintuitive mouse movements and good ol' one-dimensional WASD...

Fuck that shit. Metroid isn't multiplayer, so there is no upper hand to be gained by having the more twitchy mouse reflexes to unrealistically scan your 360 in the time it takes an electron to revolve around an atomic nucleus. Second, not only were Retro dealing with a system with only one joystick, they wanted to innovate and try something new and different. Sometimes it takes a second to turn around, but if it does, so what? Screw attack or Morph ball to a safer place if you're being ambushed! Also, in an explorative title like this, controllable movement speed in any direction is a must (I realize half life originally on the PC didn't have this, but it made do as a more by-the-numbers sci-fi shooter.) being able to make precise and extrapolated jumps and movements... I shiver trying to imagine pulling off those morph ball puzzles with keys.

Yadda yadda. I just hate to pretentious people who make fun of one of the most intuitive uses of motion control, or rather, of pointing an infrared laser at the screen in this case. I also dislike pretentious people who think that mouse and keys are penultimate just because they are better for twitchy online FPS matches or RTS games or God games.
