父親の治療との引き換えの長時間の勤務はドクターの多忙な生活の補佐にぴったりであり、自然と彼女との接触も多くなった。ロビンとドクターは次第に打ち解けていった。

この日はじめて彼女の趣味の映画を見る約束をして、部屋に誘われた。さっそく彼女の私室の二人掛けのソファに座って映画を見始める。

…なんだか、色気のあるシーンが多いきがする。心なしか彼女からも甘く、湿気含んだ匂いが流れてきているきがして、胸の緊張を感じはじめてしまった。落ち着かなくなって汗ばんできたのに気づいて彼女が飲み物をとってくるとソファの後ろに下がっていった。こちらの緊張が伝わった気がして×が悪くなる。

ふと、布の落ちる音がして振り返る。床に落ちた彼女のシャツと色気のない下着につつまれた肌があらわになっているのに気づいたのはほとんど同時だった。彼女は少し緊張した面持ちで近づいてくる。

「ドクターともあろう人がこんな簡単な口実にひっかかって女性の部屋にくるなんて…」

つづいて肌に触れながらささやかれる

「根暗な娘でも奥手とは限りませんよ…」

That day, I promised for the first time to engage in one of her hobbies, and was invited to her room to watch a movie. We immediately settled in to her two-seater sofa and began watching the film.
