Kyon vs Koizumi? I´m sold!

There's already some 80 pages of the thing here or on his Pixiv.

Man, I thought you were kidding, but there really is almost 90 pages of Kyon and Koizumi fighting a mixed martial arts bout, with no end in sight. Huh. Well, as long as it ends with Kyon shouting Haruhi's name, Rocky-style, it'll be great.

Aside from Dousei, which is still currently running, there's also this, which the author hasn't really updated in a while.

Before this there was also Sweet Home, which is an 84 page series that revolves around Haruhi and the rest of the SOS-dan spending the night at Kyon's house while his parents are away. That can be found here:

Some of the strips are kind of underwhelming art wise, but the series is fairly cute.

So what's the deal here, is Kyon fighting for Haruhi's pride (out of love)? Why does she keep being so anxious?
And why is Koizumi such a dick?

From what I gather it was Haruhi's idea. Kyon is defenseless against her while Koizumi readily agrees and sets everything up, as always, but also uses Haruhi as a prize without her consent.

So Koizumi used the situation to his advantage, either to get Kyon to be serious or to make an aggressive play for Haruhi himself... a bit of both, I guess. And naturally Haruhi would want Kyon to win or is worried about him.

Haruhi and MMA? I am sold on board this, brother!

I read the manga and it's pretty good. My only beef with it is that nobody has translated it yet and the fact that the art is a bit iffy but other than that, I like it even though I couldn't understand it.
