Friedrich is the very definition of eminence. In character, in meta, wherever she goes, she radiates intimidation and demands respect. As much as the playerbase like to play up her supposed "momma" nature, if AL was real life, nobody in their right mind would engage with her so casually. She outclasses everyone else (thus far) when it comes to exercising raw power. She's also a master manipulator who's willing to go to excessive, ruthless lengths to accomplish her goals. Everyone party to the upper echelons of AL's factional leadership is very aware of who she is and what she's capable of. The closest thing she has to a rival (as we are currently seeing played out) is Richelieu who is the religious leader of an entire nation which plays up to their historical roles quite nicely.
I don't think I have to explain the dichotomy when such a comparison is drawn to Spence. Spence's main rival is Thatcher, which is mostly all of Thatcher's doing (quite unwelcome, as far as Spence is concerned.)

I don't really see people hating on his choice. It's just more they were confused about who it was. Eitherway it was explained why and from a personal standpoint I am glad Spence is getting help

I didn't mean from people here being confused. There's people on other media platforms, like Reddit, who harass artists, not just here, so I'm speaking in broad general strokes.
