I was never that big of a fan of gardevoir. Yeah the memes were amusing, but gardevoir him(or her lol)self always seems like soem weekdd creepy alien thing, and the resemblance to a human woman always kinda gave it this uncanny valley.

This relatively new trend of turning her into a plump milf has turned that around…well, I don’t think there are many things that CAN’T suddenly become good if you do that to be fair. I do have to wonder how paizuri feels with the red spike lol

Is it still canon that peope are Pokemon that used to
Marry Pokémon ? Or has that been retconned and erased from history? Cuz if not, I guess her wish could actually come true.

theres no him, gardevoir is always a female, the male version of gardevoir is gallade.

That's incorrect. Gardevoir can be 50% male 50% female.

The hilarious part(other than the realization that it’s 50/50 so gardevoir is just as likely to be male)

is that it’s still true even after gallade appears. Obviously the “male” counterpart that can only be male. Gallade also looks like it should be called “sirknight” but that’s gardevoir’s name…

Gardevoir is just a hilarious tangle of contradictions. It feels like an oversight that a evo line with Kirlia in it can be male, and Gallade was the chance to retcon that, but they just…didn’t. For some reason.

And why is gardevoir named sir knight in the first place? And why does gallade has to still evolve from the very female kirlia…
