Sakuya fails at claw machine and Meiling asks her some money for more games. It was just bad timing.

I only ever saw one once in my life. Devil spawn of satan lured me with promises of prizes and joy, then dashed those dreams and held them corpse above me, but I am over it now and it doesn't bother me.

At first I thought so,but I wonder is it true that these claw Machine are actually meant for robbing our cash.Because I always see the toy being firmly gripped, but it still drop thanks to the impact of the claw when it lift up itself roughly and bumped hard when it reaches it's top, before releasing it the grip at the disposal place, but a friend of mine told me that someone did manage to get a toy from a claw machine.

I thought for a long time that it is impossible to get something out of one, until I saw with my own eyes someone did it.

I heard the machine stiffens the claws once in a while to allow a success, but most of the time will not put enough force to possible get one out.

I remember watching a documentary or something of these once.

I'm pretty sure that they are designed to have a high chance of dropping an item, but will stiffen once in a while to have other people believe that they will get a toy as well.

my sister got a $2 bill for her birthday once, and we stuck one in a claw machine while our mom was waiting for a prescription once. we were surprised it took it in the first place, and in addition we ended up winning a watch out of it I think it was. thing actually caught itself against one side of the claw and it couldnt drop back down, until opening it over the hole caused it to shift position and come free

I don't know why, but I feel that the doll is kind of a play on Flandre cuz her name in Japanese is 'フランドール (furandooru)' which, while can be translated as 'Frandle' (or whatever), it also sounds like 'Flandoll' or...Flan Doll. I dunno, it just popped in my head when I saw it and I thought it was kinda weird.

She should hire my uncle, that man was a god at these things. He'd spend like £10 on one and not ever miss, so he had two sacks full of toys when he was finished.

    2. Cut glass.
    3. Take toy.
    4. Replace glass so that it doesn't look like you did anything.
    5. Run away before someone notices circular scratch in glass, and realizes the machine has been tampered with.

For me, Its about knowing which ones were rigged and which ones were actually good. I could usually tell just by looking. In which case, the mall's in my area have been going crazy with Prize machines. With prizes such as Wii, PS3, DS, PSP, Xbox games. Too bad I can totally tell they're all rigged. The games were designed in the worst fashion.

She should aim for the ribbon on the bonnet.
I once lucked out and got a toy soldier caught by a single string on it's hat.
    Fifty cent toy soldier, yeah.
But, in general, these things are cash traps with the claw far too weak.
The best one I ever saw was one that gave you unlimited retries until you got something. The prizes weren't very good though.

Knowing how this series goes, Sakuya will probably give up and be even more peeved when she sees someone else get something in one try.

they dont really rob you blind was at a bowling alley once with some friends we were playing on it, got like 10 plush toys from it....would have gotten more but for some reason it broke down after our last grab. 10 plushies out of like 15 tries. you just need to fgure out how the claws going to drop and grab.

Last time I used a claw machine I got the plushie on the firt try.. And the claw too.. The plushie was too heavy for the claw so it got dragged to the hole and when it was over the hole the band holding up the claw snapped so the claw fell down the hole aswell..

Yes, these things are hellish, and they base on the ability, let's say there is a prize you want, but you want it so much you could screw that easily, you need patience man, you really need it..

And this reminds me of Six Flags: Magic Mountain... The cranes had Nintendo DS and PSP.... I'm DEAD serious (I can see Patchy running to California right now xD)

It's actually fairly easy to win at claw games. I've been in Japan twice and become a master at the games which are called Ufo Catchers over there. There are however countless of different kinds of them that are played in slightly different ways. So you will have to practice and recalculate how to get the prizes depending on the kind of machine.
    But it's definitely not impossible.

There's usually a`simple way of figuring these things out. The most common ones I've seen are based on multiples of five, 5, 10, 15 times, it'll drop it, but on exactly 5, 10, 15, or higher, it'll catch. I tend to snipe, I'll figure out the pattern, and wait for my opportunity to come. Never failed me once. Except when I can't count.

You can also abuse several machine's mechanics by aiming for places that you aren't meant to aim for. For example if you jam the claw into the side of the machine, it can sometimes shake around the prizes and make it easy to grab several of them or just make you win instantly.
