This is a piece I did for Modiphius Entertainment a while back, for the Dune RPG, in association with the upcoming Dune movie by Denis Vileneuve and Legendary Entertainment. The scene depicts a bloody fight between the soldiers of House Atreides and the Emperor's Sardaukar in an underchamber of the palace of Arrakeen. The clashing and glitching of the soldier's shields- as seen even in the movie's trailers- were pretty iconic and I tried to faithfully reproduce them. Art direction by Katya Thomas.
Being a huge fan of all things Dune, this was a great honour, a dream come true and a challenge, all rolled into one!
