Revolving Hope
The woman has one worry.
She dearly wants a child for her beloved husband. She wants to give birth to it.
However, her crucial body suffers from infertility.
One day, a traveling fortune teller faced her
and left her with the words that a tree spirit within the forest may be able to grant her wish.
The woman obeyed the fortune teller's instructions, headed to the forest, and found the tree spirit.
The tree spirit answered in acceptance of the woman's wish and promised to grant a child to her body.
However, in exchange for the conception, the woman is bound with two fates.
One, that the intense neurotoxin contained within the sap will rob her body of sensation and destroy its physiological functions.
The other, that the child born may not necessarily be human...
