I've translated it to the best of my ability. The second sentence is weird. And it's probably wrong, cause I don't know what it means by "hakakawa".

And how does a spring have a "boom" ??

I reworked the translations a bit, but I'm still unsure what Hakakawa refers to. I suspect it's a made-up word the author uses to refer to this particular style of clothes, and translated it under that assumption.
