Gordon Freeman is, by all accounts, an ordinary man. He is not a skilled assassin, government supersoldier, or empowered mutant. He has no outstanding characteristics aside from being "the right man in the wrong place." And now he stands alone, armed only with a crowbar, against an interstellar coalition with the power to conquer and destroy worlds.

Well the combines are F*cked

Halflife was way cooler before they tried to give it a story in the 2nd one. I liked filling int he holes in the second one.

Perhaps saving and loading/restarting after death is a real ability he has, or something the snake-man gives him.

Half Life is pretty cool guy, does not fear those flying fatsoes.

It'd be the height of irony if, after he's done with all this Combine business, and victory is being celebrated, he finds the helmet of his HEV suit.
