That's a good point. Why not delete ALL the political posts while we're at it? Preferably before we turn into imgur.

Because in practice, bigoted shitheads tend to use such rules as cover for censoring anything involving races/sexualities/identities they don't want to see represented. If this site's rules are indicative of anything, it's that the admin isn't interested in coddling the narrow-minded worldviews of racists and homophobes, so they're not going to provide anyone with an easy excuse for mass-flagging images like this one.

That, and also the fact that what counts as political is nebulous in practice and will always be debated upon so it's just replacing an issue with another with little difference

I dunno, whenever I visit imgur, I get like 5% cute animals, 5% fun pictures, and 90% political bullshit about how liberals are naive hippies and republicans are evil nazis genociding trans and black. Might be because I'm on mobile, it doesn't look that bad when I browse it on PC. I don't even live in the US so I have no idea what the politic is like over there, but every post there gotta be about political crap. And reddit isn't better, with the downvote/upvote system, it turned into a bunch of circlejerks where there's one opinion, and disagreeing or even questioning it get you silenced. And I'm worried Danbooru is turning into it, you already see unpopular opinions that still have a point getting downvoted without anyone discussing them.
