Before translation, I'm willing to bet Suwako dips into her froggy repertoire and started to leap at the last moment, making Meiling only clip her instead of nailing her solidly. I just hope she doesn't regress too much into the goddess she was roughly 2,000 years ago, otherwise we'll have been wrong worrying about Flan going berserk...

Now i'm seriously worried about this fight's outcome, it seems that there are more chances of Sanae calming down Suwako than Flandre based on how this scenario is developing.....being seconded by her calming both of them after they duck out in LUNATIC modo, and trying to return the fight to a more civil level instead of this way too over emotional fightan...
Huh, wasn't expecting this. Every other double-panel finishing move in this series was the finisher. I was honestly expecting Suwako to be beaten here. Orenji knows when to change it up it seems.

Well as crazy as Suwako can get, Flan still has her, "I make your head explode" trump card if for some reason the barrier fails. All I can see otherwise is just a whole lot of dead Kappa and millions in property damages.

Well I think the idea is that Meiling hit here pretty much straight up. The hat? Well we all know that the hat is it's own entity.
So Suwako says it would have worked had Meiling had the use of her knee. Meiling you did great, but i hope Flan does recover as i really don't want to see Meiling get thrashed after she tried so hard.

Indeed, her hat's knocked clean off in the first frame, and is back on her head in the last frame. It's probably that same fucking hat from post #461673.

The last panel translation confuses me, it sounds like she is saying she lost. Is she saying she was shamed by Meiling making that move, thats what I get from the unsightliness thing. IF she is not saying she lost the only other thing i can guess is she is about to discard what ever mercy or honor she had and beat the living hell out of Meiling.

Suwako wanted to finish the fight and move on to the second match so that she wouldn't have to keep playing dirty, but despite Meiling's crushed knee, she is ticked off that Meiling took it to the next level by sending her flying like that with such a dangerous move. I changed the translation to clarify that a little.
@Krugger : The latter is more likely. Though if Meiling passing out it's Flandre's turn to go berserk... The next thing we know is that the whole stadium would go...
if Sanae calms anyone down it'll be suwako, she's goin pretty hard off the deep end here
that being said Flan is way more broken then suwako is, although, arguably it could be rough for her since her Kyu~ ing things is probably blocked by the barrier
... not that flan really cared about the barrier all that much when she used four of a kind

So far Flan's just playing if a bit recklessly... this might push her into homicidal rage if not Omnicidal. In short, things would get really bad really quickly for both Suwako AND the ring.

If Sanae limps out of the infirmary, Suwako will probably calm down. Flan could take advantage of her opponent being distracted and pin her, similar to what Sanae did to her at beginning of the fight. In other words, Sanae wakes up just in time to see Suwako lose, and is also the cause of it. As unlikely as this outcome is, I would love to see it happen.

I disagree on that point. Flan does flip out. She is in fact "kind of nuts" (from the wiki). While yes she doesn't know her own strength does has gone off the deep end before.
Canon or just personality based on strips she does normally break things because she is so powerful but she also does get mad and just start trashing things/people when she stops "playing".
