Maybe this chubby style of little racehorses could have a pool called Horsies ?
The author (Takatsuki Nato) calls them "UMA"s (a double meaning for the Japanese word for horse as well as Unidentified Mysterious Animal, the Japanese term for cryptids) so I think using "UMA" in some way is better.
