Honestly, if Dehya had a passive that makes enemies non-hostile when you approach them, I'd be willing to look past her awful kit lol

You'd think after certain events in the plot, you might actually be able to spare the hillichurls or befriend them.
But nope.
Just do the same old thing forever.
Game's pretty boring once you're past the initial interest, and you stop caring for the gacha.

It's especially even stranger when you realize certain world quests actually do make permanent changes to the game upon completion. And the fact the decision to "humanize" the hilichurls, was made as early as the very first region's sidequests.

But Genshin is no stranger to missed opportunities, so I guess this is another drip in the overflowing bucket.
