Dude, I hate when they do that, why is that a common thing in manga?. One time, I met a girl who did exactly that to me, then she got mad AT ME because I did not pick up she like me, I was like "What? You treat me like shit twice a week". Thats why I can't stand tsunderes.

The problem with tsunderes is that in fiction we get to see their true thoughts on the matter as well as what they're like when they're alone. Where as irl we only see the side they show when they interact with us which is asshole side.
It's a trope that can really only work in fiction.
