When that's not an option there are less crowded places like bathrooms, below staircases, roofs, corners, front yards, lobbies or a plain street outside. Then we have headphones, portable games, puzzles, books and comics to pass the time on. Introverts need to plan more carefully their outside adventures, you don't go to a desert without water.
