I was surprised to stumble upon THE Ouka Miko's YouTube channel, after a while of listening to old UTAU songs that I've enjoyed for more than a decade. I got to admit, when I initially came across her channel, I thought it was a "fan account" dedicated to collecting Ouka Miko content, but as I watched along the introductory videos of the channels, it dawned on me that this was the actual 'Ouka Miko' running the channel and that she had turned to VTubing!
As a long-time UTAU enjoyer, I wanted to greet her and let her know that a person from Denmark, of all places, knew who she was and appreciated her singing. It was so surreal to hear this "nostalgic" voice speak my name.
I listened to some of the Live-Streamed singing from a year back and came across a moment that I found very endearing. Ouka Miko was singing Powdered Snow by Remioromen and had trouble reaching the highest notes because her voice was a bit rusty during the LiveStream. A sound I can clearly imagine being a small wolf howling, which I was very charmed by and wished to draw an Animation for.
