Yeah it's not like she didn't realize she killed a human. The plot, most of the characters, all of its songs and even the meta-comparison to IBO clearly shows that WFM's whole theme is "don't let yourself be someone else's puppet". Suletta spent the whole season being someone's puppet, she literally had a mini-arc where she's depressed there's no one to pull her strings so of course it wouldn't end pretty.

I dunno, even people raised badly tend to not like, ye know, killing people. We literally have mirror cells that make us feel other's pain and empathy.
It isn't just something as "simple" as parents not teaching her that "killing is wrong"
