Is it just me, or are there some notable similarities between the Forest of Magic in Gensoukyou and the woodlands of eastern Narnia?

In this one and post #595328, I see a heart-warming combination of the Tumnus & Lucy scene of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" plus the "Alice, your house is always so warm" notion (cf. the flashback in post #348595). ^^

Did I write "eastern?" Western Narnia, of course. More specifically, the Lantern Waste. I need to reread the novels, it has been such a long time.
