Question: What are the front cables connected to? I actually saw similar gadgets in Forza Horizon videos, some cars even having their headlights removed so cables could be drawn through them.

its an oil cooler, runs to exterior where the cooler is mounted on the front bumper, then another line takes it back to the engine. practical applications in race cars, aesthetics for the likes of bosozokus like bocchi here.

Your average actual race car doesn't mount it outside like that though. Since things hitting the cooler or lines is a risk.
This is common for bosozoku though.
