Fun fact, alcohol withdrawal is the only type of withdrawal that can actually kill you. The rest just make you wish they did.

Opioid withdrawals can also kill you, unfortunately. Still, I don't think audiences would sympathize as well with heroin addict Hiroi-chan.

Benzo withdrawal, barbiturate withdrawal, chloral hydrate withdrawal, Qaalude withdrawal...

(Note that they are all GABA agonists like alcohol.)
