Leaf used bubble beam on Golem. It is super effective!

I agree with you there. I was wondering how a few bubbles or a sprinkle of water could kill a Rock-type like Golem? Sure Golem suffers serious damage from water attacks due to it's poor dual-types, but a drop of water could kill it? It's like saying Geodudes would've extinct whenever there's water.

Why do you think there aren't Geodude uprisings? The poor bastards are KO'd on a regular basis, keeping them the low-level starting-out Rock-types they are. Only in caves do you see them truly flourish and evolve.

    However, Leaf's cuteness is deadly.

It's a joke. Onix appear in the wild out on a few islands, you know, exposed to sea air. They're just 4x weak to water and have low special defense.

Actually, it seems that the 'soap' which killed it.
Ground type-pokemon should have a special kind of protein which builds up their bodies, which then used to bind dirt and rocks as their so-called flesh and organs (which of course, based on my speculation only, although I know some people who 'faint' from excessive hydrophobia).
If you apply the same law which states that soap will break the surface-tension between water and oil (which we know is the matter which composes the cell's outer membrane), then the soap will probably 'liquefy' the cells, then causes the poor Golem to die as humans would when showered by Hydrochloric Acid...

Hey, don't hurt Leaf. She did all of this on accident.

Actually, if Golems are anything like wild Gravelers, it probably self-destructed right after taking a minor amount of damage.
