I honestly feel some of the characters would have more attractiveness if the visor retracted. I'm more incline to think that the visor is mounted over her face, like she's looking through the visor's cameras. As such, if you were to remove the visor, you'd see her true face of the girl. Although I'm not sure if that's the case lore wise and if their face actually is built around the visor system which makes it unable to be removable/retractable - some of the Nikkes like iDoll Sun and Flower would be attractive, especially Sun who refuses to answer questions (probably due to her "shoot first, ask later" personality).
