I feel like Giba didn't want to draw out the rest too much and just decided to basically sum up the rest of what happened to get us the long-teased happy ending. Drawing out the battle between the elves and Reszurre's capturers would've taken far too long, I assume, given the amount of detail this work tends to have and it wouldn't really serve the story, which hasn't relied all that much on action, well.
I have to admit that I'm shocked. It feels like someone slammed the fast forward button on what had been a really compelling story. That being said if Giba felt that it was time to end this and do other things, then that's completely his call. I've enjoyed this story thoroughly and it's nice to see that there's a happy ending to it as well.
I'd rather have an abbreviated and truncated ending instead of no ending at all. (Looking at you touhou_tag_dream...)
Agree. The series dragged to much longer already and a lot of artist never finish them due getting burned out or new proyects in life too. So wrapping it up quickly was the best.
I'm honestly a little dissapointed she grew back her arm with a "magical potion". Felt like all that work to get a magitech drawfen arm went to waste.
Yeah but now they have the sick, flying motorcycle again though. It all falls in nicely. Most of her wounds got healed her lifespan got cut down to match up Allen's and they have children now.

I might misremember this, but wasn't the "high potion" a plot point that was brought up earlier in the series and Allen couldn't do it or believed it was just rumours?
I am so confused since they cut it short, but you know what? I am just relieved she got a good end.
About time Giba move on to other works, I guess.
Because it's hard to draw battle scenes. Since this manga type looks like 1 page and full of narrations only, it's hard to do battle scenes and putting plot twist with so much action in it.
The end felt super rushed, but I am content with the fact it has a cheerful ending. Although one criticism would be how everything that was built up - in terms of healing - seem to be moot now that they just magically gave her back her lost body parts. All that struggle of trying to remove the curse, going through monetary defiency in order to get prosthetics and a replacement arm and leg, were just swept under the rug at the end.
Still, good end, at least she gets a happy ending after what she's been through.
I've been binging this, found it from the wheelchair tag. It's always good to have an actual happy ending once in a while. Too many "legitimate" manga and anime have bad endings, even when the author thought they did a good job (like with Quintessential Quintuplets.) Somehow, it seems like doujins and hentais, or fan works like this, seem to have a better track record in this regard, compared to the "real" series.
Also, if Reszurre hadn't used the healing potion, she probably wouldn't have been able to have children. Or the other options had more risks. That's what the discussion with Adamska alluded to.
I don't mind a rushed ending as long as it is a good one. It's better than a bad ending or no ending.
Thank you so much for reading this work all the way to the end!
The rough beginning of these two's story, started from just the smallest of opportunities, was drawn to the end thanks to everyone that was cheering me on.
My sincerest thanks for warmly watching over me as I took that first, precious step as a creator. Truly, thank you so much!ー Giba-chan
