I don't think OctoCamo either. But didn't the FROGS have a lighter colored armor suit? I also remember it had a helmet to go with it. Too bad you couldn't do a skin-swap, and play as enemies, like with Uncharted 2.
Am I the only one that thinks it looks a lot like the Chinese Stealth Suit in Fallout 3? Its mostly the chestpiece with the two tubes going up by the neck, and the visor.

It does. PDW's mostly use proprietary, hybrid ammunition designed for high muzzle velocities and good penetration beyond the range of a SMG. A PDW itself is a compromise between a rifle carbine's range and firepower, and a SMG's light weight and compactness.
It's like in 1944, you were trying to argue that the Stg44 is a machine gun, because it doesn't fire a pistol cartridge to be a SMG, and also fires in full-auto, so it can't be a rifle. Even before that, FA and AVT-40 start the battle rifle class and you're fucked again with your classification... is it a LMG, a rifle, or what?
New classes tend to arise when the situation demands it and you should deal with it, or you're going to make an even worse mess out of the whole terminology thing. Just sayin'.
Also, I would like to ask the people who feel no urge to join or watch the discussion, to refrain from voting the comments either up or down. I understand that it doesn't interest you, but I really doubt the fraction of second you spend scrolling through it is going to kill you.
So what you're saying is that because the P90 isn't fed with pistol ammo like an MP5 or a Bizon, it is a PDW and because of that it isn't a SMG? Said like that it's easier to understand that the MP7 is also one - and by extension, can we consider the Five-seveN a PDW too?
