They are - by replacing her with λ-11 (Lambda), the "previous incarnation" of Nu and Noel (Mu).

Nu is still in Blazblue, her soul is trapped in lambda, however it seems like Nu has a arcade portrait while she's in her body in continuum shift that was found while dustloop was ripping shit.
She's also on the special edition box art, so we shall see.
