In a way, Robocop himself belong to a Corpo like Smasher is. In many ways, cyberpsychosis topic was explored in Robocop 2, with Murphy questioning his own remaining humanity and total psychopath like Cain able to adapt to full cybernetic body while many trial to recreate Robocop fail.

Cain was basically OCP's own Adam Smasher, a psychopath who survived and even thrived on being a full borg
