To explain the (current version of the) commentary, Avramax cannot be targeted by card effects (but can still be destroyed by non-targeting card effects like Raigeki), while I:P Masquerena's effect make the Link Monsters summoned with her as the material cannot be destroyed by card effect, thus covering the former's weakness (besides getting Nibiru'd/Kaiju'd, of course).

People started to run Borreload Dragon to deal with this set up too so really all this art needs is Borreload Dragon relaxing on the beach but lifting its sunglasses to look at Avramax.
