(For those who may not know, USS Massachusetts is a museum ship, the centerpiece of the collection at Battleship Cove in Fall River, making her one of only a handful of Kancolle ships you can visit in real life. I used to be a member of the museum society, back when I lived down that way. They've also got a Balao-class submarine, USS Lionfish, and the Gearing-class destroyer USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., which you may have seen playing the role of itself in the motion picture Thirteen Days. They need a cruiser and an aircraft carrier to complete the set.)

Given that Torch was her shakedown cruise and a rather aggressive debut, that is appropriate. She's not a lady concerned with manners.

The moment I saw her on the event banner, I wished her to be voiced by Scamp's VA. After hearing her English bits, I would say I'm 99% sure it's the same VA. It's thanks to her that we get this gem

Honestly, the SoDaks have been slightly disappointing. None of the character models are that curvy, which makes these feel like a missed opportunity for some variety. If you look at SoDaks in real life, the ships are kinda chonky, being designed to fit within very tight treaty limitations and all. Would've been interesting to see South Dakota and Massachusetts with wide hips, large bust, and shorter height.
