Cobra? That was the air maneuver where he stalled after flying straight vertical? I remember that.

13 was the best ace of the series, period. Got me amazed when I played the last engagement with them, coming back from a U-turn to find him in my nose (coming from an opposite turn) firing missiles, we hit each other and he got the worst only because I wasn't on highest difficulty.

That alone deserved a missing man formation.

I don't think the aircraft actually stalls when pulling a Cobra, but I don't know for sure. It's one heck of an odd aerodynamic situation in the least. And if you're not careful, the maneuver itself can kill the pilot.

I can't tell you how many times I've played Ace difficulty and we've pounded each others' faces in like that. Makes for an awesome replay at least...like the end of Zero, 'cept with more fire. And starting over.
