It's perfectly possible irl. I've seen multiple videos of girls tied up in identical looking reverse prayers. Although many can't endure a tie like this over longer periods, there are some videos (often Chinese bondage videos) where the girls are tied like this for over 40 minutes. Their arms get turns purple from blood restriction and go completely numb
