>Mercedes >Explicitly 22 years old >isnât even the pushing 30 timeskip version >milf/âmature femaleâ
Gotta love the âcollege aged milfâ trope. Itâs not even ambiguous this time
Funny thing is, I agree. In her first support She says âI thought you were too young to be a teacherâ(despite Byleth being close to her in age)
All I could think was âI thought YOU were âtoo youngâ to be a milf, but here we areâ
So just realized that if you wanted to, you could use similar logic to say Byleth is a âmilfâ too. Sheâs basically pushing 30 by the timeskip too.

Please don't dilute the meaning of words, it's bad enough that Twitter does it, I don't need to see it here. If she doesn't have children then she's not a M.I.L.F.- Mother I'd Like to Fuck.

Sorry. Itâs already been diluted for years and years.

Change "Mother" to "Motherly/Maternal", problem solved.
Simp (clipping of simpleton) changed from "a simple person lacking common sense" to "a man who foolishly overvalues and defers to a woman, putting her on a pedestal"... also "squirrels in my pants".
I don't see any problem on milf turning to "older sexually attractive woman". "Mature", just another word with "M".
I absolutely refuse to sumbit to the new meaning of simp so I know how that guy feels. I agree that it is imperative for the future of our species that we stop the erosion of words. We already live in a world where âliterallyâ literally doesnât mean âliterallyâ anymore, in fact itâs âliterallyâ the opposite. What next?
But milf being âolder womanâ had been around since the words inception. The debate between purists who say that it applies to any woman who has a child, and dudes with serious mommy issues is an irreplaceable part of our culture
As for Mercedes and her ilkâŠI think we can universally agree to just drop that conversation in any serious capacity, and just âfollow your heartâ. That too, is sacred.

Simp is derivative of "simper". Someone who flatters another, which is quite appropriate given the modern context. Simpering simpletons.
A sideways sandwich. And I think slave2thedrago is right too, it's a matter of perspective because aging is relative. It's not the same a 12 year old calling milf to her 25 year old teacher that doubles his age than a graduated young adult doing exactly the same.

It's not about age though. It's in the bloody fucking name - mother I'd like to fuck! If she doesn't have children then she's not a mother, and if she's not a mother then you can't rightly call her a milf. It's a technical term! That gets diluted by idiots like you calling any old middle-aged bitch a milf.
Semantics, pedantry, and such of what a milf is aside, this probably raises questions of proper use of mature female as a tag. Its wiki sounds like canon age is important, but as has been pointed out, the character depicted here is barely in her 20s, despite having a stereotypical "mature woman" appearance.
Along the same vein, Lusamine is over 40 despite her looks, which is pointed out in canon, but only 220 out of 15k posts are tagged mature female. She's also a true blue milf.
Hmm, I think that wiki article needs to be re-worked. Among other things, it says "also known as a cougar", which simply isn't true: a woman isn't a "cougar" unless she seeks a romantic relationship with a younger man.

All I'm left to say is I wish you good luck finding the background of every old woman you have called a milf. Some of them didn't have children. I could also argue MILF and "milf" are two different things as the second one are not initials, just like Capcom doesn't mean Capsule Computers anymore. However that would be too much.
Your point about tagging is interesting. Lets stick to examples just within fire emblem
Juno. Igrene. Mila. Eyvel. Naga. All have mature faces, relatively advanced ages, children in some sense, theyâre discussed as milfs on the fire emblem boards. Then thereâs FreyjaâŠ
Yet Mercedes is more consistently tagged AND YET very few Mercedes posts as tagged as milf. And almost all of them are from her canonically younger version, even though it would make more logical sense for her timeskip version.
Manuela and Rhea comprise the majority of the milf tag for fe, as far as I can see, but Seiros has not one. Both of them have more non milf than milf tagged posts.
There does seem to be a âgoes without sayingâ type of phenomenon and âfeelâ seems to play a part. Plus, character popularity, lazy tagging, etc.

Lets set the record straight there.
Mature is a term borrowed from porn. It has always been synonymous with milf and older woman. Especially since itâs often hard to tell if a woman has children or not in a porn video. Cougar is also thrown in there. Yes TECHNICALLY cougar is only older woman on younger man, but theyâre all used to refer to the same concept.
The entire point of âMother Iâd Like to Fuckâ is that normally, one wouldnât want to fuck someoneâs mother due to their age and a couple other factors, so the âolder women Who retains her arractivenessâ is implied by the name. People tend to lose sight of that.
So yeah, age should be the main factor, technically. The problem is that anime has the infamous âthousand year old loliâ trope among other things. Much less cut and dry than irl.
Anime characters are concepts in the mind, not physical realities. âMommy energyâ is going to be very important for something that relies so heavily on feeling.
Stuff like this is why I offered the âfollow your heartâ advice earlier. This is ambiguous concept that has been debated since itâs inception even in rl. Milf fans seem to like it that way and no one seems to be complaining.
I say any discussion should be rightfully muffled and smothered by mommy milkers. In others words-mmmmfff bbbhhffthh fffnnn
