Fanart of Mefilas from Shin-Ultraman.

So, "Ultraman" series is the popular kids' show in Japan. (This series has reached its 55th anniversary currently!)  And the movie "Shin-Ultraman" is what made as a remake of the original Ultraman. -Something more realistic and enjoyable for the adults too.
It just has been published from 13th May in Japan, and I went to watch it many times as a little Ultraman fan myself since childhood.

Amount of classic monsters from original Ultraman series are re-designed in this movie, and I was very impressed by this new design of Mefilas. He became so sharp and stylish comparing to the classic design. It immediately stole my heart at the first contact.

Mefilas as the alien came to the earth for bringing "gospel" to the humans. But his plan went against Ultraman's justice, so they ended up fighting each other. However, because Mefilas didn't find value in fighting anymore, he left the earth before defeating Ultraman.

The technological effect as the background music decorated this character so well in the movie.
But I'm also impressed by Mefilas's smart and gentle attitude. -He didn't appear as the complete villain. He learned the earthlings' cultures and had the respect to it. Also he had his own view of the world peace, and tried to get the earth by people's approval, without violence.

Definitely he has became my new husbando. ;w;
