I love both series, but I doubt a ship like the Nadesico has any chance against the Swordbreaker.

The nadesico has nothing special except that is a private warship.
The nadeisco relies more in strategy to win + mecchas.

The swordbreaker in the other hand is a "lost ship" that uses psychic energy.
Lost ships relies mostly on fire power but can even destroy whole planets.
