Translator note: The し (shi) at the end of sentences (and not part of the word at end of said sentence) in japanese just means "and" and is used to basically have an addendum to the sentence/statement immediately preceding it.
When she overuses it here, it sounds very girly (in a mildly bratty sense), while also obviously conveying nervousness. I tried conveying that feeling by adding "like" in the second bubble.
