Oh my freaking god. The artist even got the characters who's designs are pretty much fanmade, like Youki, Layla Prismriver, Tokiko, and Lily Black! Not to mention the 'unnamed' side characters like the Zombie Fairy, Alice's giant doll from 12.3, and the giant frog mentioned in Aya's article on Cirno. And even then, there's still the various generic enemies, like the Card from Mystic Square's Extra Stage.
As far as I can tell, there is only ONE character who isn't in the image. Rin Satsuki. I'm not surprised she didn't make it, she was a character who was going to be playable in EoSD, but was cut from the game. Analyzing the game's code reveals her existance, as well as a cutaway image that was on Team Shanghai Alice's website. So the artist literally got everyone except for a character who doesn't really exist.
I wonder if someone could convince the artist to add on more characters as more games get created. Therefore it will remain the defacto ultimate absolutely everyone image.
Missing: Rin Satsuki(Existed but wiped out from exiatance), Nyouren Hiziri(We don't know what he looks like), every fan-made character, the 8 Honest men(Read Zun's music disc), the 4 evil clowns(Again, read Zun's music disc), the man who drove the train Renko and Maribel were on, dragon(Creator of Gensokyo(Cannot overpower ZUN)), Five magic stones(There's only one, but it's reasonable), Hourai, ZUN(His self-insert is Kannushi, who hides somewhere in the Hakurei Shrine composing music, I guess that's reasonable too).
I'm just pointing out all of them, some of them were not there, but were exceptions. If you can't see the list I put, just high-light it. =P

Man you would think most touhou characters would have over 9*stops* ... more then 5000 or 10000 post on here solo or with others exept the newer characters but seeing this pic with everyone and I mean EVERYONE in the touhou universe proved me wrong. It seems some alot are doomed to be in the shadows of the current popular group.

Less popular than Chiyuri (Who really should be exposing her midriff) and they basically don't exist. Except Konngara for some reason.
