Flying Officer Iwamoto Over The Coral Sea
"The first plane, an SBD, was at an advantageous altitude and was about to dive," said Iwamoto, "and the close fire from the 20mm was a welcome relief. With a single volley of fire, the first plane burst into flames and dropped downwards at a steep angle with its bombs in its arms, trailing a tail of smoke."
