Nah man, fuck Diallos. After forgoing the avengement of his servant and killing for the Volcano Manor, he deserves feeling like a failure. Even before then, he wasn't considerate of his brother and journeyed to the lands between in search of glory, only for his brother to come looking for him and be eliminated by the same people who killed his servant in the first place. He couldn't even protect Jarburg from Poachers save for 1 jar, which truly cements his worthlessness. At least he comes to terms with how much of a fool he was in the very end.

Oh, we're resorting to "calling names" and "who hurt you" just because someone has their own opinion now, are we? The implementation of Upvote/Downvote is already questionable enough, we don't need this site becoming more and more like the worse side of reddit.

Edit: and to all of you who are gonna be downvoting this to oblivion and back because y'all dumb asf and know only to resort to downvoting, hope that mouse-clicking finger of yours get cramped.

    At least Diallos tried.
His brother only dies if you choose to kill him, though. You can blame Diallos for that if you want, but completing the contracts isn't necessary to complete Volcano manor. That blood's on your hands.

How does stating facts of what literally happens in his questline warrant asking who hurt me? The entire point of Diallos character arc is to show how ridiculous his quest for glory was. Whether or not he's earned redemption in the end is up to the player, and in my opinion, he doesn't, save for finally acknowledging his foolhardiness in the end.

Maybe saying "fuck him" is too hyperbolic, but he's a deeply flawed character even from the outset, which is honestly what makes him interesting. My dislike of him is proof that his existence meant something to me, which is more than what other NPCs, like D, did.
