Don't take it so seriously, crossover had existed for long and will go on existing.

And since Touhou itself is a series of games with a lot of tributes and parodies, Crossovers between it's character with other franchrises is quite natural because Touhou IS derivated from other series in some aspects.

I don't even want to know what their kids are gonna be like. Adel and Rose are bad enough.
