Have you even read the original comics (The A-series)? This is not Shinji doing this -- this is a guy that kidnapped Shinji and is about to rape Asuka! The comics are a disgrace! And you, mate, are so gutterminded and sexist. How you can find this appealing is beyond me. But I guess birds of a feather flock together. If you had also bothered to watch the new footage (for the TV series - "Renewal" and "Platinum", they're called) You'd realise that Asuka is a complete tsundere throughout the story - she doesn't even realise that it's her attitude that drives Shinji away. But you wouldn't know that, because all you see is "Asuka the bully". Rot in hell, along with Izurumi.
