I felt so bad for Blaidd at the end of Ranni's questline..... but then I read the armour's description and I stopped feeling bad.

Blaidd was basically a slave made by Two Fingers to make sure Ranni didn't do anything against the Golden Order, even though he probably didn't even fully realized it himself, so don't feel too bad.
