When Riot Games announced to update Dr Mundo, I decided to go along and make my own version.

The initial phase was finding out what direction to go, so I was exploring different paths. I had some community feedback on what felt like Mundo, or what was interesting.
Next I contacted @RiotLegendLarry who helped me figure out where I wanted Mundo to go visually.

My core pillars for Mundo are: Monstrous, madman/dumb, unstoppable (Mundo goes where he pleases)
Furthermore I decided to make him a more fun character so he should be somewhat loveable as well.

Lore:
I'd like to keep his backstory a mystery. This helps to set him apart from Warwick (the experiment) and Singed (the scientist). Characterwise I see him as true neutral, like a force of nature who lives and goes wherever he pleases I could imagine him as an uncivilised slob with disgusting tendencies...somewhat like Shrek.

Mundo is one of the great mysteries of Zaun.
Just what is Mundo? A failed experiment? A successful experiment? A half troll? A mutated Yordle? The last survivor of an unknown vestayan tribe? A human, cursed by the gods or is THIS normal?
Noone knows...not even Mundo, but everyone knows two things about Mundo: That he has always been there (considering his supernatural regenerative powers he may in fact be one of the oldest inhabitants of Zaun) and that he goes wherever he pleases. Like a force of nature, sometimes Mundo just happens.
