Inspired by the brave Ukrainian woman who told the invading Russian soldier "Put sunflower seeds in your pocket so that sunflowers will grow when you die here."

The snake island defenders were just as good, seeing they were about to die from Russian navy shelling.

An amusing line, without a doubt, but a grim reminder, should it come to be. I hope once this war comes to a peaceful end, we can have a lasting peace.

For those wondering, the sunflower is Ukraine's national flower.

To add, Sunflower oil is Ukraine's largest export. Heck, Ukraine is the world's largest producer of Sunflower oil.
That means this picture can be also interpreted as 'die and became profit for us'.

    Brave Ukrainian Woman

I have seen the video in question. She steps up to two soldiers and screams slurs at them, then walks away, while one of the soldiers very calmly tells her not to scream and not be aggressive. There is no fight, nothing, just a screaming woman camera facing downwards the entire time. The soldier is not even shown on video. I wouldn't be surprised if he was from a peacekeeping division that does not take part in any fights, and keeps watch around captured villages.

Many young Russians do not want to partake in this madness, it is common for people in Russia to have families in Ukraine, and vice versa. This war has divided me from my family. Our countries are on the verge of war. It is very saddening for me, that people like me were sent to this war and are giving their lives. They all die the same, but some will be remembered as heroes and others will be remembered as beasts. And all because of geopolitics and greed. There is nothing noble about war and death.

Hatred only births hatred. War only kills, until noone is left.

Absolutely nothing against the Russian people but the Russian soldiers can get fucked for all I care. Maybe if they kept to fighting other soldiers instead of gunning down civilians I'd be more inclined to share your sentiment.

Though you gotta give props to that one angry Russian Tank Driver who ran over Col. Yury Medvedev for sending his friends off to their deaths. Even the Russian boys on the ground are getting pretty fed up with all the brass and this stupid war of theirs.

I agree, that's why I've said I don't find this particular situation to be something praiseworthy. I don't condemn that woman either. I don't find enjoyment in this situation. And I mentioned we don't even know who this guy is. History does not care about individuals - people like me, like my family members, will die gruesome death.
