It's more like the manga was trash to begin with. The girl-from-space-now-fiancee was done best by Urusei Yatsura and UFO Princess Valkyrie. BOTH of which are far superior.
The manga was great at first but it then start to suck cause it's almost always the same thing. I stopped reading after they did another valentines day chapter. The same thing with Hayate no Gotoku. It start to get stupid and boring after about a few hundred something chapters. That's usally what I hate when mangas go past alot of chapters. They run out of ideas and already did everything you want(except Sex...usually). The animes are somewhat better since they tend to stop and leave you wondering.

But nobody reads it for the story anyway. A few did at first, but realized that they were wasting a great deal of mental energy. After a ceratin point, the only reason I read it was for Mikan, Momo, Kotegawa, and Mikado-sensei.
The worse thing was when I realized I did not care about that abrupt/lame ending for the series, 'cause I knew that was how it would end, whenever it ended.
