Really sorry for the late update. Again, this is just a fan-made story, don't get too serious about it.

Sheesh, talk about a tone change.
I mean, I really should expect this given how guin was in the past, but still.

Also, damn he's improved. Come a long way from b&w sketches

In the end, we all know the elephant in the room had to be addressed for the both of them.

Also really digging that inverted color of Gwenpa's eyes. It emphasizes him going from doting Gwenpa to cold Assassin.

Just a reminder to anyone who read this comic and haven't played the game that this isn't canon and is fanon made up by the artist since the Doctor wasn't a wingless and non-halo Sankta but is possibly from a precursor race from an era much older than most Terrans.

Most people think the Doctor is a Human, since they don't have any particular racial indicator.

Does anyone wanna fill me in on Theresa’s lore as someone just casually reading Quins story?

She was a Sarkaz King, who transferred her powers to Amiya before dying. Kal'tsit was really attached to her and hates Doctor for something they did to her. As the possible ruler of Kazdel and the Sarkaz race, she had a huge target on her back.

Well, technically all the residents of Terra are still human. They refer to themselves as humanity and the like. The main difference is instead of color and ethnicity-based races like we have, Terran humans have their animal/angel/devil races. But all still collectively 'human'.

Though the literal animal-people like the generic NPC archosaurians, or the operators drawn by KuroBlood certainly push that envelope.

So is Guin implying Kal'tsit indirectly or overtly caused Doctor's death out of revenge?

That seems awfully extreme. Grandpa's and Kal'tsit's relationship in this comic has been very up and down, but averages out to "chilly, but civil". If Grandpa really believes this, and has all along, then alot of their interactions no longer make sense. He should outright hate her.

While Kal does have a grudge against the Doctor, I don't think she'd seek to cause their death, as Amiya's sanity and Theresa's hope lies on their hands.

Gramps is pissed because joining Babel forced his disciple to throw away his morals and life for the "Greater Good".

I think the question is about what happened after his disciple went with Theresa that turned him into the pre-amnesia Doctor.

He and Kal's relationship is not hostile enough for him to think it's all her fault, but there probably is some element of 'what were you people doing'.

... In the end though, didn't the Gwenpa teach him how to kill? How to be an Assassin? The idea of removing a single person to make the world a better place really isn't that far from "The Ends Justifies The Means" of the Pre-Amnesia Doctor.

He probably saw some of the fault in her since she was in a place of leadership with the doc and Theresa. It's obvious he places most of the fault in Theresa but Kal was there as well during the civil war. Kal at best was complicit to what Theresa was doing and at worst, a part of the problem.

I suppose quin did say not to take it too seriously so maybe theres a punchline or some gag twist because of that statement.

He just meant don't get upset over how much it's deviating from canon, and just enjoy it for what it is. He doesn't shy away from serious plot threads and I don't see him undermining the seriousness of this arc by making a joke out of the disciples' deaths.

No. Gwenpa taught him how to protect himself and those he cares about. Doctah decided to use those teaching to help create a 'Utopia'. And for all we know he is...still...alive... Ah shit. Is that why Ch'en seems so calm...? We have yet to see Guin's Talulah to...

Might be staff, or run it. We don't really know, since we only saw the place three times (Liskarm/Franka, W which happened same time as previous one as far as we know, and Ceylon with background Schwarz)

    Namely here;

It's less about having a haircut and more that she's trying to keep her expression unreadable.
If I had to guess, she knows that Gwenpa has a point with his implied accusation: She is partially at fault for the Doctor becoming a ruthless war criminal who by the end of it all, would lead people straight to their deaths without a second thought for victory if he wasn't the person outright killing them. This isn't something someone can just listen to with a straight face; not when realizes she has a hand in something like this.
