Correct me if I'm wrong but, does Meiling remind Flandre of her mother or something like that on the first 5 panels? It's still adorable!

I think it "gone forever" refers to Flan's emotional state, whereas "getting angry" refers to Sakuya getting angry at Meiling for slacking all the time.

Hm, I guessing that Sakuya assumed that Meiling was gone. I mean, since both she and Flan were sleeping, some time must've passed, so Sakuya thought that Meiling was killed by Flan's unstable-ness (since she didn't come back, since she was asleep), and she came to check, and found both of them asleep. Something like that.

Yes, I believe you hit the nail on the head. Makes quite a lot of sense.

In any case, Flandre's sleeping in the first panel is cute-ness.

I think Sakuya is just being sarcastic, saying "gone for good" as "you didn't return to your post for far too long".
I know Sakuya is somewhat violent, but I can't see her meaning she expected Meiling to have died in this strip.

Well, for "I thought you were gone for good," like I said earlier, Sakuya thought Flandre killed Meiling and stuff.

"...how am I supposed to get angry after seeing this?" Well, I'm guessing that anger or annoyance is the first thing that Sakuya feels when she sees Meiling slacking off and sleeping. Since Flandre's sleeping with her, the cute-ness is not making her angry. Something like that.

I just realized something. Flan's mother in this strip looks a bit like Yukari... Now, it's almost definitely me over-thinking, but I have to wonder if the artist did that on purpose...

This really touched my heart in three ways.. I love this.
